Public information on television notifications available from the television fee register

Some of the information in the television fee register is public. FICORA can, if requested, give out the following information:

• whether the person in the given address has a valid television notification;
• when the television notification has been submitted;
• whether the validity period of the notification has expired.

Registration inquiries must be submitted in writing, using one's own name and address. Requests for documents must have the name and full address of the person whose television notification information is requested.

FICORA will not disclose the following:

• whether the television notification has been submitted under the name of another person living in the same address;
• whether the person has moved to a new address;
• whether the person has payment delays;
• information about unauthorized use of a television set and eventual sanctions ordered because of it.

FICORA will not disclose information in the form of collection of information from the television fee register. Personal or address information will not either be disclosed for example for marketing purposes.
